Calendar & events
A built-in agenda, with one-tap events extracted from email.
Aiemaily includes a lightweight built-in calendar so you can see what’s coming without leaving your inbox. When an email implies a meeting, one tap pulls the details into a ready-to-confirm event.
Agenda view
The calendar opens in agenda mode: events are grouped by day, listed in chronological order. Each row shows the event title, start and end times, location (if present), and the attendees pulled from the message.
The view is compact by design — it fits alongside your inbox without feeling like a second app.
- Events grouped by date header, sorted earliest-first within each day.
- Location line appears only when one is available.
- Attendee avatars or initials shown inline; tap to expand the full list.
- Past events are dimmed, not removed, so you can scroll back through recent history.
One-tap event extraction from email
When Aiemaily detects that an email contains meeting details — a proposed time, a video link, a venue address — it surfaces a prompt in the thread. Tapping it opens a pre-filled event form: title, date, time, location, and attendees are already populated from the message.
You review the details and confirm. Nothing is added to your calendar until you explicitly do so.
- 1
Open the thread
Select any email that mentions a meeting time, call link, or venue.
- 2
Tap “Create event”
The prompt appears in the thread header when Aiemaily detects meeting intent. Tap it to open the event form.
- 3
Review pre-filled details
Title, date/time, location, and attendees are extracted from the email. Edit any field that needs correcting.
- 4
Confirm
Tap “Add to calendar”. The event appears in your Aiemaily agenda immediately.
Internal calendar only — no external sync yet
Managing events
Tap any event in the agenda to open its detail view. From there you can edit the title, time, location, or attendee list, or delete the event entirely.
| Action | How to do it |
|---|---|
| Edit event details | Tap the event → tap “Edit” |
| Delete event | Tap the event → tap “Delete” → confirm |
| View attendees | Tap the event → expand the attendees section |
| Jump to the source email | Tap the event → tap “View original email” |
What gets extracted — and what doesn’t
Extraction works best when the email contains explicit dates, times, and a recognizable location or link. Vague language (“let’s catch up sometime”) does not trigger the prompt.
