Installable PWA & offline

Install to your home screen; read, search, and draft offline.

Aiemaily is a Progressive Web App — install it once and it launches instantly, with or without a network connection.

What 'installable PWA' means

A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a website that your browser can install and treat like a native app. Once installed, Aiemaily gets its own home-screen icon, launches in a standalone window without browser chrome, and keeps working when your network drops.

The app shell — the layout, navigation, and assets — is cached locally after your first visit, so subsequent launches paint instantly before any network request completes.

Mail content stays private

The service worker only caches the app shell (HTML, CSS, JS, icons). Your email messages and AI call results are always fetched over the network and are never written to the on-device cache — protecting your mail if someone else accesses your device.

How to install

Installation takes a few seconds and requires no App Store or download. Follow the steps for your device below.

  1. 1

    Open aiemaily.com in your browser

Use Safari on iPhone/iPad, Chrome on Android, or Chrome/Edge on macOS/Windows.

  2. 2

Tap or click the install prompt

On iOS/iPadOS: tap the Share icon (box with arrow), then 'Add to Home Screen'. On Android: tap the three-dot menu, then 'Add to Home Screen' or 'Install app'. On macOS/Windows desktop: click the install icon in the address bar.

  3. 3

    Confirm the install

Tap 'Add' (iOS) or 'Install' (Android/desktop). Aiemaily appears on your home screen or in your Applications folder.

  4. 4

    Sign in once

Open the installed app and sign in with your Aiemaily account. Your session persists — you will not need to sign in again on subsequent launches.

  5. 5

    Allow notifications (optional)

When prompted, allow notifications so Aiemaily can deliver background push alerts for new mail. You can change this later in Settings → Notifications.

What works offline

When Aiemaily detects a lost connection it switches to offline mode automatically. Your most recently synced mail is available to read, search, and reply to — replies queue locally and send as soon as connectivity returns.

Actions that require the network — sending via your mail provider, fetching new messages, or running the AI agent — are deferred with a clear indicator and completed the moment you are back online.

Branded offline fallback

If the network drops before the app shell has loaded (e.g., first ever visit with no connection), a lightweight branded offline page is shown, explaining that Aiemaily needs an initial connection to install.

Updating the app

Updates happen silently in the background. The next time you open Aiemaily after an update has downloaded, a subtle banner lets you apply the update instantly with a single tap — no App Store approval cycle, no manual download.
