Signatures
A rich signature library, set a default, and choose one per mailbox.
Build a library of rich-text signatures, designate a default, and assign a specific signature to each connected mailbox. You can also switch or remove a signature while composing any individual email.
Building your signature library
In Settings → Signatures you can create as many signatures as you need using a rich-text editor — the same editor used in the composer. Format text, add links, include your logo or headshot, and lay out contact details exactly as you want them to appear.
Give each signature a name (for your own reference) so the switcher in the composer is easy to scan.
Keep a few variants ready
Setting a default and per-mailbox assignments
Mark one signature as your global default — it appends automatically to every new compose window unless overridden.
If you have multiple mailboxes connected (personal, work, a shared alias), you can assign a different signature to each. Aiemaily picks the right one automatically based on which mailbox you’re sending from.
| Assignment level | How it works |
|---|---|
| Global default | Appended to all new emails unless a mailbox or per-email override applies |
| Per mailbox | Overrides the global default when composing from that specific connected account |
| Per email | Switch or remove in the composer; applies only to that message |
Switching signatures while composing
Inside the composer, the active signature is shown at the bottom of the compose area. Click it to open the signature switcher, choose a different one from your library, or remove the signature entirely for that message.
Changes made in the composer are per-email only — they don’t alter your saved defaults.
Per-email changes don’t affect your library
