Send later & scheduled send

Schedule mail for the right moment; a worker dispatches it on time.

Compose an email now and tell Aiemaily when to send it. A background worker dispatches it at the scheduled time — useful for time-zone-aware delivery, respecting working hours, or simply writing ahead of schedule.

How scheduled send works

When you schedule a message, Aiemaily stores it and the chosen send time. A background worker checks pending scheduled messages continuously and dispatches each one when its time arrives. The message leaves your account at the scheduled moment, not the moment you tap “Schedule.”

Until it goes out, the message sits in your Drafts view with a “Scheduled” badge showing the target time.

Good uses for scheduled send

Reach a colleague at the start of their workday in a distant time zone. Avoid sending after-hours messages that could feel intrusive. Write a follow-up in advance while the context is fresh, then let it go out at the right moment.

Scheduling a message

  1. 1

    Compose your email

Write the message as normal in the compose window.

  2. 2

    Open the send menu

Tap the arrow next to the “Send” button to reveal the scheduling option.

  3. 3

    Pick a date and time

Select the exact date and time you want the message to go out. The picker respects your account’s time zone setting.

  4. 4

    Confirm scheduling

Tap “Schedule send.” The compose window closes and the message moves to Drafts with a “Scheduled” badge.

  5. 5

    Let the worker dispatch it

At the scheduled time, Aiemaily’s background worker sends the message automatically. You’ll see it move to Sent.

Editing or cancelling a scheduled message

Open Drafts and find the message with the “Scheduled” badge. Tap it to reopen the compose window. You can change the content or the scheduled time, or cancel the schedule entirely and send immediately.

Time zones

The scheduled time is interpreted in your account’s configured time zone. If you need the message to arrive at a specific local time for the recipient, convert manually before picking the time — Aiemaily does not yet auto-convert to recipient time zones.

Note

Scheduled send requires your device or browser to remain connected to the internet, but the background worker runs server-side — the message will go out even if you close the app before the scheduled time.
