Yes — as you refine it. Drafts follow the voice in your Personal Context, so when you update your tone, phrasing or sign-offs, or add detail to a client profile, the drafts reflect your current style.

What if I don’t like a draft?

Accepted Answer

Every AI draft is editable before it leaves your outbox. In Copilot mode you review and approve every send. In Autopilot mode you have an undo window before delivery. Nothing sends without your intent.

The more specific your Personal Context, the closer the match gets.

How does AI Emaily match my tone?

You describe the words you reach for, how long your sentences run, whether you lean on lists or flowing paragraphs, how your formality shifts between clients and teammates, and how you sign off. Drafting runs inside your isolated AI Emaily workspace — your mail is never used to train external models or logged to providers.

Does it use a different tone for different people?

Yes. Per-client profiles let you set your formality register per relationship — how you address an external client versus a cofounder versus an internal teammate — and the draft adapts to match who you’re writing to. You can reinforce this with per-rule overrides in Settings → AI & Voice, setting one tone for client threads and another for quick team check-ins so each reply lands at the right level without manual adjustment.

Does AI Emaily train its models on my email?

No. Your mail is never used to train AI Emaily’s models or any provider’s models. Drafting happens only inside your isolated workspace using the voice you set, and message content is not retained beyond what’s needed to serve your session. Model providers run under zero-retention terms, so nothing you write becomes training data anywhere.

How detailed does my voice setup need to be?

Voice matching works from your first draft, but it sharpens as you add detail. If your Personal Context is thin, early drafts skew toward a more generic, neutral tone. As you describe your tone, phrasing and sign-offs, and add client profiles, the output needs fewer corrections.

Can I pick how powerful the drafting model is?

Yes. In Settings → AI & Voice you choose a reply model — Fast, Balanced, or Powerful — plus creativity and default length. Balanced suits most inboxes; reach for Powerful on high-stakes drafts like proposals or escalations where a small quality lift is worth a few extra seconds. You can set these globally or override them per Autopilot or Copilot rule for finer control.

Will a draft ever invent facts I didn’t give it?

Accepted Answer

No. The agent only drops in values it can source from your existing mail or saved context — names, dates, deal stages, open action items. If the information isn’t available, it leaves a clearly marked placeholder in the draft instead of fabricating a detail. You review every draft before it goes out, so you can confirm or fill those placeholders rather than send something inaccurate.

Do voice-matched drafts send automatically?

Accepted Answer

Only if you set them to. In Copilot mode — the v1 default — every draft waits for your review and explicit approval before sending. In Autopilot mode, eligible replies can go out under a rule you define, but you still get an undo window before delivery and a full audit trail afterward. Nothing leaves your outbox without your intent, regardless of how the draft was generated.
