Can I change the default keys?

Yes. Go to Settings → Shortcuts. Each shortcut is individually rebindable, with conflict detection so two actions can't share the same combo, and a one-click reset to defaults.

Do the shortcuts work on Windows and Linux?

Yes. The only difference is the command palette: ⌘ K on macOS becomes Ctrl K on Windows and Linux. Every other shortcut uses the same ⇧ (Shift) combinations.

Why don't they trigger while I'm writing?

Shortcuts are intentionally ignored inside text inputs, the composer, and search — otherwise typing normal letters would trigger actions. Click out of the field (or press Esc) and the shortcuts are active again.

Is there a quick way to see the full list?

Press ⇧ ? anywhere in the app to open the live reference, which always reflects your current (including customized) bindings.

Make them yours

Every shortcut is rebindable. Open Settings → Shortcuts, click a shortcut, and press the keys you want — the editor warns you if a combo is already taken and lets you reassign it. You can reset any binding back to its default at any time.

Shortcuts never fire while you're typing in a text field, the composer, or a search box — so a key like ⇧ R types an “R” in your draft rather than starting a reply.
