Unified inbox
Every account in one stream — or split by mailbox when you want focus.
Connect every mailbox you own and work from one stream — without ever switching accounts.
How it works
When you connect an account — Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Fastmail, Proton, or any IMAP provider — Aiemaily syncs its messages and merges them into a single, time-ordered inbox. Read, reply, search, and act on any message without touching a context switcher.
Each connected account keeps its own identity: a distinct colour badge and a live unread count appear next to its name in the sidebar. Nothing is mixed up, but everything is reachable from one place.
Switching to per-account view
The unified stream is the default. When you need to focus on a single mailbox — say, your work Outlook account without personal Gmail in view — click that account in the sidebar and Aiemaily narrows the view to that account only.
The switch is instant and stateless: come back to the top-level inbox at any time and the unified stream is exactly where you left it.

Supported providers
OAuth-based connections (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Proton) are the simplest to set up — authorise once and Aiemaily handles token refresh automatically. IMAP connections require a server hostname, port, and an app password if the provider uses two-factor authentication.
| Provider | Connection type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Gmail | OAuth 2.0 | Requires Gmail scope; supports All Mail |
| Outlook / Microsoft 365 | OAuth 2.0 (MSAL) | Personal and work tenants supported |
| iCloud Mail | OAuth 2.0 | App-specific password required |
| Fastmail | OAuth 2.0 / IMAP | JMAP sync preferred |
| Proton Mail | OAuth 2.0 (Bridge) | Requires Proton Bridge for IMAP |
| Any IMAP | IMAP + SMTP | Hostname, port, app password |
Searching across accounts
Search in unified view queries every connected account simultaneously and returns results ranked by relevance regardless of which mailbox they live in. Narrow results with account: filters if needed.
