Yes. Drag accounts in Settings → Accounts to set the display order. The order also affects which account is pre-selected when you compose from unified view.

Is there a limit on the number of connected accounts?

Yes. Connected mailboxes follow your plan’s account limit: up to 5 on Pro, up to 10 on Autopilot, and on Team up to 10 for the owner plus up to 5 for each member. See the pricing page for the current tier caps.

Does AI Emaily store my email on its servers?

Message bodies are stored in encrypted object storage, referenced by ID. Your OAuth tokens are envelope-encrypted and never logged or exposed to client code. See the Privacy doc for the full data model.

How does the unified inbox work?

When you connect a mailbox — Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail, or any IMAP account — AI Emaily syncs its messages and merges them into one time-ordered stream. You read, reply, search, and triage from a single view without switching accounts. Each account keeps its own colour badge and live unread count in the sidebar, so nothing is mixed up, but everything is reachable from one place. The unified stream is the default; you can always narrow to a single mailbox when you want focus.

How do I see all my accounts in one place?

Connect each mailbox once from Settings → Accounts. OAuth providers — Gmail and Google Workspace (via the Gmail API) and Outlook and Microsoft 365 (via Microsoft Graph) — authorise in a single click; iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail, and any other IMAP account connect with a hostname, port, and app password. Once connected, every account's mail flows into the unified inbox automatically. The top-level inbox shows the merged stream across all of them, and each account also has its own sidebar entry with a distinct colour badge and unread count if you want to focus on just one.

Can I work from one account at a time instead of the merged view?

Yes. The unified stream is the default, but clicking any account in the sidebar narrows the view to that mailbox only — for example, your work Outlook without personal Gmail in view. The switch is instant and stateless: return to the top-level inbox whenever you like and the unified stream is exactly where you left it. Per-account view is handy when you want to stay in one context without the rest of your mail competing for attention.

When I reply from unified view, which address does it send from?

AI Emaily pre-selects the From address based on the last account you were viewing, so most replies go out from the right identity automatically. You can always change the sending address in the composer before you hit send. If you reply to a message inside a thread, the From address defaults to the account that received that message, keeping the conversation on the correct mailbox.

Can I search across all my connected accounts at once?

Yes. Search in unified view queries every connected account simultaneously and ranks results by relevance regardless of which mailbox they live in. If you want to scope a search to one account, add an account: filter. Note that full-text indexing runs just after a message syncs, so very recently arrived messages — under about 30 seconds old — may not appear in search yet, though they are always visible in the inbox stream itself.

Which email providers can I connect?

Gmail and Google Workspace connect over OAuth through the Gmail API, and Outlook and Microsoft 365 (personal and work tenants) connect over OAuth through Microsoft Graph. iCloud Mail, Yahoo, Fastmail, and any other provider connect over standard IMAP plus SMTP — you supply the hostname, port, and an app password if the provider enforces two-factor authentication. AI Emaily does not connect to Proton Mail. OAuth connections refresh tokens automatically; IMAP gives you universal coverage for everything else.

Does connecting an account move or delete mail on the server?

No. Connecting an account is read-and-sync — AI Emaily mirrors your mailbox into one stream without restructuring it. Archiving or triaging in AI Emaily maps to the equivalent action on the provider (for example, archiving leaves the message in All Mail on Gmail), but nothing is deleted unless you explicitly trash it. The unified inbox is a view over your real mailboxes, not a replacement for them, so your provider's own folders stay intact.
